About Our Family
We're a lively, warm family of four in Wexford, PA- the kind of home where there's always a backpack by the door, a dog who's thrilled to see you, and a busy week unfolding on the calendar. Both parents are in senior executive roles (one primarily working from home, the other with frequent travel), so our days move quickly, and plans can shift. We have two school-aged kids with full schedules and a friendly yellow lab.
When the counters are clear, the laundry is handled, and the week feels organized, everyone in the house feels a sense of calm and lightness-giving us a true ability to connect as a family. We already have some support in place with our bi-weekly cleaners, so this role is about keeping the household running smoothly day to day: staying ahead of the details, coordinating other household help, and helping us maintain systems that reduce stress.
What this role looks like in practice: you'll be the steady, capable presence who helps the household stay one step ahead - making sure laundry doesn't pile up, the pantry is stocked, the kids' logistics are covered, and the home feels welcoming and ready for whatever the week brings. In return, you'll be working with a family that values professionalism, trust, and mutual respect - we appreciate initiative, and we notice great work.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You're the kind of person who can walk into a busy home, take one look around, and know exactly what to do next - reset the kitchen, start a laundry load, clear the counters, and quietly get the house back to "caught up." You're highly organized and detail-oriented (a true project-manager mindset), and you take ownership: you start tasks, finish them, and don't need step-by-step direction.
You understand the to-do list never really stops for families. When the house falls behind, the physical clutter adds stress. You'll be the steady presence who takes that pressure off day to day: keeping the home running, anticipating what's next, and making sure the basics (meal support, laundry, supplies, logistics) don't slip.
You're polished and professional - comfortable representing the family when interacting with schools, vendors, and the broader community - and you're warm without being another thing to manage. You're tech-savvy and confident using the family's Skylight system to keep calendars, lists, and schedules updated.
If you enjoy bringing order to a fast-moving week - and helping a family feel calmer, more organized, and more present with their kids, especially as the school year begins and schedules get even more complex - you'll likely love this role.
