The Junior Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

*This is an onsite position at our Beavercreek office*

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new capabilities

  • Resolve issues found in existing code

  • Integrate capabilities with external services and tools

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or relevant STEM field

  • 3.0 GPA or higher. (GPA must be on resume to be considered).

  • U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

Required Experience

  • 0-2 years of Experience with web front end development using React or Angular

  • 0-2years of Experience with server-side languages, such as NodeJS, Python

  • 0-2 years of Experience with version control software (ex Git)

Required Skills

  • Ability to communicate technical details of work

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project

Desired Experience

  • Secret Security Clearance or higher is a plus but not required

  • Experience with Docker (containerized deployment) is a plus

  • Experience utilizing NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB is a plus

  • Experience with Kubernetes is a plus

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins is a plus

  • Experience with HELM is a plus

  • Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA is a plus

  • Experience with RESTful web services is a plus
