ABOUT THE JOB

Administer and maintain product data within JDE, Document and Specification systems, and other supporting software platforms, ensuring consistency and upholding data integrity.  This individual will be instrumental in the development and maintenance of integrations of our data across a variety of systems.

This role will be a part of the Product Data Management group and can provide backup support to other members of that group as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

JD Edwards/Data Setup & Maintenance

  • Responsibilities may include daily activities in the following list, or at minimum, be functional in these tasks, in order to provide backup, as needed.
  • New Product Requests (NPR)
  • Item Branch Adds
  • Engineering Change Requests (ECR)
  • Deactivations
  • Special projects designed to either maintain, change, or update existing data
  • Ensure consistency, data integrity, and timeliness associated with data request submissions to JDE and other platforms supported by the Quality Data team
  • Provide and support internal and external customers with proper documentation or data requests
  • Prioritize and Organize tasks and activities on a regular basis, ensuring that company expectations are met.

        Specification Data Management

        • Maintain/update/create various document types with the assistance of subject matter experts and ensure proper publication in the document control platform.
        • Collaborate on the integration of specification documents and systems of record, driving continuous improvement to ensure accurate, efficient, and synchronized data management (e.g., aligning JDE data with document-controlled records).
        • Assist or lead efforts to make the integrations between our systems more accurate and the processes more efficient.  This would involve cross functional projects to enhance the current integrations.

        Product Data Management Team (PDM), Document Control and Compliance / Regulatory Support

        • SDS Delivery and Corrections to the delivery process
        • Updating purchased COA data to allow for proper filing of forms
        • Perform Daily activities associated with the Document Control Process
        • Cross train with the Compliance team’s responsibilities and act as the back-up when needed.
        • Ability to search required background information, track and report metrics as needed.

                    ABOUT YOU:

                    • Bachelor’s degree required, Quality / Science background preferred.
                    • +3 years of experience with an ERP system required, JD Edwards preferred
                    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and experience with a Specification Management application/platform is desired
                    • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow through to conclusion of assignments.
                    • Required to utilize basic math skills
                    • Ability to work independently on daily tasks, and as part of a team.
                    • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and maintain professionalism
                    • Ability to communicate effectively in corresponding teams and across functional departments

                      Expected Compensation: $25.00-31.00 + 5% Bonus Eligibility
