The health services that became the Anthony L Jordan Health Corporation (Jordan Health) began more than 100 years ago, in 1904. As one of the first 5 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) established in the nation, its roots are steeped in service to those who face barriers to health and health care, meeting their need for comprehensive medical, dentistry, behavioral health, and community services. Starting in northeast Rochester, NY, Jordan Health has since expanded to become a network of primary care offices and health centers serving residents living in three quadrants of Rochester, NY and in Canandaigua, N.Y.


Jordan Health is now seeking an IT Support Technician who, under the guidance of the IT Systems Manager, is primarily responsible for providing advanced technical support and serves as the escalation point for IT issues across the organization. This role is responsible for hands-on troubleshooting, system support, equipment deployment, and ensuring operational continuity across all sites.

Requirements:

The IT Support Technician will ensure that:

· Escalated IT issues are resolved effectively to ensure continuity of operations

· IT systems and endpoint devices are configured, deployed, and maintained to meet organizational standards

· IT infrastructure support is coordinated effectively with internal leadership and external partners

· IT equipment lifecycle activities are executed efficiently to support operational needs

· After-hours and critical support needs are addressed in a timely and effective manner


Education and Experience Required:

· Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience required

· Minimum of 2 years of hands-on IT support experience

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


Skills and Knowledge Required:

Knowledge of:

· Hardware, software, and basic networking concepts

· Microsoft 365 and endpoint management tools

Skills:

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

· Ability to work independently and across multiple locations

· Effective communication with both technical and non-technical users


Special Skills, Knowledge Required:

Computer hardware, software and peripherals such as PCs/laptops, servers, monitors, cables, network systems, and printers. Functions, operations and technology related to medical, financial, business and administrative applications and related hardware and software. Procedures for installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing applicable software related to the establishment and maintenance of LAN’s and WAN’s. Techniques for explaining technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users in a non-condescending way. Installing, configuring and upgrading operating systems and software, using primarily standard financial, business and administrative application practices. Installing, configuring, assembling and repairing computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, telephones and related hardware. Monitoring LAN’s. Troubleshooting and solving hardware and software problems. Instructing users on new or upgraded computer applications and hardware. Using initiative and independent judgement within established guidelines and procedures. Organizing own work, setting priorities and meeting critical time deadlines. Communicating effectively with co-workers, subordinates, superiors, the general public, representatives of public and private organizations and others sufficient to exchange or convey information.
