Job description

Responsibilities
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our client's team in Fort Collins, CO. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a technology professional with 2-3 years of experience who enjoys providing exceptional customer service, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting both daily operations and project initiatives.
In this role, you will provide day-to-day technical support for end users by resolving incidents and service requests while also contributing to IT projects that support business objectives. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
Qualifications
  • Provide day-to-day IT support by managing and resolving incidents, requests, and technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related problems.
  • Support end users through effective communication and professional customer service.
  • Participate in assigned IT projects, including implementation, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and support activities in accordance with team procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical challenges.
  • Maintain and support Microsoft, Cisco, Azure, and Azure Fabric environments.
  • Participate in an on-call support rotation to address after-hours technical needs.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Required
  • 2-3 years of IT support, help desk, desktop support, or related experience.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft technologies and environments.
  • Exposure to Cisco networking technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure Fabric.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong customer service and professional relationship-building skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude

Preferred
  • Experience working in a hybrid infrastructure environment.
