Summary
The Auxiliary Maintenance Technician has a very versatile skillset that requires the ability to cover multiple responsibilities. This position will work around and on rotating equipment and facilities with high pressure to perform routine maintenance. This is an entry-level position which will receive additional on the job training.
The position requires significant attention to detail, accuracy in results, follow-through, and timely documentation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair multiple production machines
  • Routinely clean and wash equipment
  • Troubleshoot issues with production equipment.
  • Change small valves and threaded piping
  • Maintain plants and facility locations/roads
  • Maintain backhoes and trailers as needed.
  • Maintain and clean crew tools
  • Do all required computer work and reports
  • Work safely and productively
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-year hands-on experience in mechanical operations of manufacturing equipment.
  • Goal driven/forward thinking
  • Ability to learn and retain task knowledge
  • A steady work history and strong work ethic
Preferred
  • Heavy equipment experience a plus.
  • Competency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
