Job Summary:
Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization focused on accelerating the global development of safe and effective medical therapeutics. They are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to enhance their analytical capabilities by partnering with the Data Engineering team to drive enterprise-wide data initiatives and improve business performance.
Responsibilities:
• Work in close partnership with the US Data Engineering team to drive enterprise-wide data initiatives to completion.
• Conduct complex analysis and proactively identify key business insights to assist departmental decision making.
• Design and develop key metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive insights and business decisions to improve performance and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Analytics, Information Systems, IT, or similar
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to work independently
• Technical Skills – either experience in, or strong desire to learn fundamental technical skills needed to drive Data initiatives (SQL, Python, Dimensional Modeling, etc.)
• Communication Skills - Partner with other data engineers to implement data architecture and design, to support complex analysis
• Analytical Skills - Conduct complex analysis and proactively identify key business insights to assist departmental decision making
• Data Visualization skills - Designing and developing key metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive insights and business decisions to improve performance and reduce costs
Preferred:
• Experience in business intelligence or data engineering – advanced SQL and Python preferred. Open to entry-level candidates
