Software/Instrumentation Engineer – Journeyman
Ft. Eustis - Newport News, VA Area

Key Duties
  • Configure PCM, aircraft data bus, Ethernet, IRIG-106, and related systems.
  • Review, debug, and evolve custom software (MATLAB, LabVIEW, C#, C++, Visual Basic).
  • Support flight testing (pre-flight through post-flight) and potential in-flight duties.
  • Oversee less-senior staff.
  • Implement data acquisition controls, participate in flight testing, maintain/debug software routines, and operate electronics test equipment.
  • Support equipment transport and setup (valid driver’s license; ability to lift 25 lbs).
Minimum Qualifications
  • ABET-accredited Bachelor’s + 2 years (or Master’s + 1 year) data collection/instrumentation experience related to aviation or R&D, plus CAD experience.
