To thrive as an Entry Level Insurance Agent, you need strong interpersonal skills, basic sales acumen, and a high school diploma or equivalent; some employers may also require state insurance licensure. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, quoting tools, and online policy management systems is often expected. Persuasion, resilience, active listening, and relationship-building are standout soft skills for this role.
