As an inside sales representative, you will have a direct impact on our business by developing relationships with our customers, maintaining excellent service and support to them in the sales process.  This position interacts primarily utilizing the phone and other forms of electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers to increase sales of products and/or services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, and fax to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
  • Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional between customers and sales team.
  • Providing proposals / quotations.
  • Reviewing and processing customer purchase orders.
  • Purchasing products.
  • Scheduling / posting customer shipments.
  • Ensuring customer needs are met by tracking account activities and following through.
  • Assist and provide technical support to customers as needed.
  • Address and facilitate resolution of customer issues and concerns with personal initiative or by assigning action to appropriate personnel and teams.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
  • Product training schools will be required.

Required Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience required.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time hourly position. 
  • Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm CST.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
