The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a driven Aftermarket Parts Sales Representative to join our team in Surrey, British Columbia. As the Aftermarket Parts Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing inbound sales leads and developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Aftermarket Parts Sales Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing inbound sales leads for the Aftermarket Parts department and supporting existing customers
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, including understanding unique customer needs, offering tailored product solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborating across departments to enhance customer relationships
  • Developing product knowledge on various types of material handling equipment
  • Developing sales skills and working towards identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through research, prospecting, and targeted outreach
  • Leading quarterly trips to key customer sites in your sales territory

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Previous experience in an inside sales or customer service role is preferred
  • Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred, such as sales or business administration
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment and parts is an asset
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • A customer service mindset and strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A confident self-starter with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • A willingness to continuously learn and grow

The base pay for this role is: $45,000 annually plus uncapped commission. On target earnings in the first year are estimated at approximately $65,000.

This is an onsite role based in Surrey, British Columbia.
