Description

This is an entry level position. 


We are currently adding to our HR Team at Yark Automotive. The Human Resources Coordinator will be familiar with basic HR aspects and responsible for providing team member support. Focusing on continuing the same level of confidentiality, knowledge and respect that has been established over the years. Working with all departments and team members to make sure that the Yark message is presented in a positive and consistent manner. Keeping the Vision and Mission of the Yark Automotive Group as the foundation for all activities.


HR Coordinator Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Processing new hire documentation, obtaining all required documents from the managers and third parties that we use
  • Setting up new hires in all systems
  • Becoming familiar with Yark process, policy, and procedure as it relates to the HR functions
  • Working with the various systems to be able to reset passwords and answer general inquiry questions
  • Working with unemployment and works compensation on collecting information and returning to the various agencies in a timely and accurate manner
  • Providing reporting on a number of HR related topics, this could include but is not limited to turnover, benefits enrollments, and recruitment efforts


Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable learning, working with and eventually training others on various software platforms 
  • Have a basic knowledge of workers compensation, benefit administration and accident processing
  • Comfortable with being responsible for the clerical duties related to HR process
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • No concerns interacting with people in person and over the telephone
  • Must be a competent, confident, self-starter 
  • Good reasoning skills that mirror the philosophy of the organization
  • Effective organization, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills are required
  • Basic understand of the various HR functions and their applications in corporate environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and general office equipment skills and the flexibility and ability to learn new applications and systems
  • Reasonable and Reliable Attendance
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Mathematics: Algebra, Geometry, Multiply, Divide 
  • Reading - read a variety of novels, technical magazines with excellent comprehension
  • Writing - prepare business letters, expositions, summaries and reports with proper format
  • Speaking - communicate in a manner understandable by all levels of education.
  • Reasoning Development: Apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form. Deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
