Position Summary

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for supporting the HR department in delivering a smooth and professional employee experience from recruitment through onboarding and ongoing employment. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a commitment to professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Professional Onboarding & New Hire Support

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the new hire onboarding process
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters, onboarding packets, and employment documentation
  • Schedule and facilitate new employee orientation sessions
  • Ensure completion of required paperwork, background checks, and compliance forms
  • Introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, and organizational culture
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related questions
  • Ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance to active employment

Recruitment Support

  • Assist with job postings and applicant tracking
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Support hiring logistics and documentation

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Update HR systems and databases with employee information
  • Assist with payroll, benefits enrollment, and HR documentation
  • Track employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements

Employee Support

Qualifications
