Job description

HR Clerk

The HR Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department. This role assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, data entry, payroll support, and employee services while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service to associates. The HR Clerk helps ensure HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to the Human Resources team.
  • Welcome and assist associates, applicants, and visitors with HR-related questions.
  • Support recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of employment documentation.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare employment letters and other HR documents as requested.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance documentation, including I-9s and other employment records.
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries or direct them to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Perform other administrative and HR duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of administrative or Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
