Cardiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Thriving, Expanding Cardiology Practice
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Employment type: Part-time to start, 3 days per week
Salary Range: This is an Entry level salaried position $70 - $85 per hour
About the Practice
We are a thriving, energetic private cardiology group with four full-time cardiologists (soon expanding to five) and a collaborative care team that includes a nurse practitioner and outstanding medical assistants and administrative support staff. Our practice provides a broad spectrum of in-office diagnostic and interventional cardiology services in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced cardiovascular technology.
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant to join our team and oversee our stress testing at out Thousand Oaks location. The ideal candidate will be motivated, collegial, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with common cardiovascular conditions including heart failure, arrhythmia, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and hypertension.
This is a great entry way to gain experience and knowledge base. This person will oversee our Stress Echocardiogram lab, PET Imaging, as well as perform Bubble Echocardiograms.
Qualifications
Active California Nurse Practitioner license and national certification required.
Experience in Cardiology- a plus!
Prior exposure to device management, stress testing, echocardiography, and vascular imaging is highly preferred.
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
