Job Duties: Diagnose and treat advanced heart failure and transplant patients. Examine patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as cardiac catheterization and endomyocardial biopsies. Provide advanced heart failure treatments, including complex medical regimens, left ventricular assist devices, acute mechanical circulatory support, etc. Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation to other physicians as needed. Call coverage after hours and for other physicians as deemed appropriate. Attend and participate in scheduled departmental administrative and academic meetings.

  • License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
  • Completion of an advanced heart failure and transplant fellowship
