Entry-Level Accounting Agent - Recent Graduates Welcome
Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite
Salary: $52,800 (Entry) - $57,600 (several years of experience) annually
Employment Type: Full-time
A global logistics company is seeking a recent Accounting graduate to join its New York accounting team. No professional accounting experience is required. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting accounting operations for branch offices across the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Process check and ACH payments
  • Verify invoices and accounting records
  • Maintain journals and general ledger entries
  • Review accounts receivable and bank activity
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly closing, financial reports, and audits
  • Communicate with branch offices regarding accounting inquiries
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred but not required.
  • Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
