Job description

Benefits:

  • Opportunity for advancement
  • Training & development
  • Wellness resources

Why Batbox?

Ready to work where every shift feels like game day? Batbox is reinventing the social sports experience - where high-energy baseball meets killer food, signature drinks, and unforgettable vibes. Think an electric sports pub meets batting cages, and youre right in the middle of it.

Where?

Come work at our flagship Batbox venue in Addison, Texas at Village on the Parkway.

What Youll Do

Our Gameplay Ambassadors are the heartbeat of the simulator floor - blending customer service, energy, and know-how to make sure every guest feels confident, supported, and fired up to play.
  • Be the Guide. Youll be the go-to person at the simulators - welcoming guests, walking them through gameplay, and helping them get the most out of their time in the box
  • Deliver Legendary Service. Youll turn every moment into a memorable one, answering questions about the simulators, celebrating wins, and keeping the energy high
  • Solve in Real Time. Youll learn our baseball simulator technology inside and out so that you can handle quick fixes, resets, or basic troubleshooting and know when to loop in the Product team for bigger issues.
  • Support the Team. When the floor slows down, youll lend a hand wherever needed - helping hosts seat tables, or sparking guest curiosity by talking up the simulators and upcoming game modes
  • Train and Share Knowledge. Youll help train team members on gameplay basics, system use, and best practices for guest engagement.
  • You get to play. Part of your job is jumping in the box - learning the games firsthand so you can teach, demo, and amp the experience for every guest
  • Represent Batbox beyond the venue. Be open to supporting Batbox at trade shows or special events - helping showcase the simulators, engage attendees, and amp the Batbox experience for new audiences

What Were Looking For

You are energized by helping others, curious about how things work, and motivated to keep every game running flawlessly while making sure every guest feels supported and excited to play. Whether youre solving a gameplay question, explaining a new challenge mode, or just high-fiving a guest who hit their first home run, youre all about delivering that Batbox energy.
  • You dont have to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable around technology - understanding how our software and hardware connect so you can jump in fast and keep the fun going
  • A hospitality-first mindset - you genuinely love helping people have a great time
  • A knack for learning new technology quickly and explaining it clearly
  • Confidence and enthusiasm when talking with guests - whether its their first swing or their tenth
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to stay connected with servers, managers, and the bar
  • Some background in hospitality, customer service, or recreation (bonus points if youve worked in tech-driven environments).
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and events - when the fun happens!
  • You are at least 21 years old

What to Expect

This role is active and hands-on, and you can expect to:
  • This is an hourly paid position
  • Be on your feet for 100% of your shift - walking, standing, and moving throughout the venue
  • Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs
  • Navigate a fast-paced, high-energy environment where noise and distractions are common
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Frequently bend, reach, and stretch during your shift
  • Read and write handwritten notes

What We Value

  • Be a Good Human: Show kindness, integrity & courage. We aim to always do what's right
  • Amp the Experience: We 'wow' our guests and ensure their experience is legendary from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave
  • Lead Together: We are one team. Everyone is empowered to lead
  • Level Up: We're always looking for new ways to improve, innovate & raise the bar
Whats In It For You

  • Flexible scheduling
  • Employee food discounts
  • A one-of-a-kind, high-energy workplace
  • Big room for growth with a fast-expanding brand
