JOB DESCRIPTION

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

The Full Stack Engineer/Developer-Junior will support the IDST OTA in SOCAF (Stuttgart, Germany).

JOB DUTIES (INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Assist in designing and maintaining data-driven backend systems supporting secure, high-performance search and analytics missions.

  • Support development of backend services for data ingestion and retrieval, and help build APIs and microservices using Flask or FastAPI.

  • Contribute to DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, Docker containerization, and infrastructure-as-code while assisting with EDA on CAI/PAI datasets.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Basic familiarity with Windows or Linux commands

  • Python

  • JavaScript/JS, or TypeScript, React, Vue

  • Git (GitHub and/or Gitlab)

  • Databases (such as: Postgres, Elasticsearch, etc...)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Clearance: Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance is required.

  • Experience: 0-3 years of related full stack development experience.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • Certifications: None required; familiarity with AWS, Docker, and DevSecOps tools is preferred.

  • Role requirements: 5 days on-site

  • Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
