Their primary duties include greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, managing appointments, and performing basic administrative tasks such as filing and data entry. This role typically requires strong communication and organizational skills, but often does not require prior experience or advanced education. Entry level positions are suitable for individuals who are just starting their careers or seeking to gain experience in office administration.

Familiarity with office software (such as Microsoft Office Suite), phone systems, and appointment scheduling tools is typically required. Excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask help someone stand out in this role. These skills are crucial for creating a positive first impression, managing daily office operations smoothly, and ensuring effective customer service.
