Job Description:
This data analyst role will evaluate sales and performance of various products in different countries and retailers over time and also perform basic reporting tasks for these programs. This role will frequently use Excel and Power BI and rely on MS Sales, BI pivot table reports, and other data sources requiring Microsoft network access. This person will work closely with the program director, internal teams, finance, and other program vendors.

Primary Responsibilities:Â
1. Prepare basic reporting for use by partners and internal digital distribution teams.Â
â Prepare publisher-specific reports listing units sold by country and title and make available to account teams and/or publishers on a monthly or weekly basis (depending on partner).
â Prepare quarterly new title summary report and deliver to account managers for use in contract compliance activities.
â Generate monthly and quarterly reports in a set format, summarizing unit sales by title, publisher, country, and content type over time for use in program reporting.
â Work to implement effective changes to policies, processes, forms, and tools per program initiatives
â Maintain metadata tables used to update BI reports to show sales by sets of titles, etc.
2. Prepare reports and analysis of sales and distribution performanceÂ
â Prepare a weekly sales report summarizing recent sales
â Prepare a report summarizing baseline and additional sales during promotional periods for use by others in analyzing program performance.
â Develop and provide monthly reporting data and analysis for program Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs)
â Develop and provide quarterly data for Publisher Digital days reporting
â Extract data from BI Sales Reports to build out analysis of publisher performance
â Comparison analytics YOY variance of actual to forecast for both C2C and CSV
â Ad-hoc reporting for various reporting needs (i.e., game sales world wide by different platforms)Â

Candidates will have a proven track record of project coordination and analytics as well as the following:

o Confident and energetic, able to create structure when faced with ambiguity
o Organized at tracking open requests and issues and showing status of open tasks
o Data driven in thoughts and actions, familiar with using Excel pivot tables and Power BI
â BackgroundÂ
o Familiarity and experience with gaming - required
o Has played a variety of Xbox games and can describe their favorites and key attributes
â Tools and ExperienceÂ
o Experienced using Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power Point, MS Sales, Outlook
o 4+ years relevant experience
