Job description

Description The Program Support Specialist I assists with the delivery and support of recreational programs, special events, and facility operations. This entry-level, part-time position plays a key role in helping ensure participants have a positive and safe experience in youth athletics, special events, cultural programs, summer camps, and facility rentals. Examples of Duties Duties: Provide on-site support for recreational programs including setup, check-in, and basic supervision.

Assist staff with organizing equipment, materials, and supplies for activities. Greet and assist program participants, parents, and patrons. Perform light administrative tasks such as data entry, attendance tracking, and distributing information.

Help maintain cleanliness and safety of program areas and facilities. Support special events through logistics, crowd guidance, and participant engagement. Communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, and the public in a courteous manner.

Follow all department policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Typical Qualifications Qualifications: Must be 15 years old or older. Previous customer service or recreation experience is a plus but not required.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours as needed. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
