Marketing & Events Manager
Location: High Point, NC

About Us

Smitty & Pearl's is seeking a creative, energetic, and results-driven Marketing & Events Manager to help grow our brand through engaging social media, exciting events, and meaningful community involvement. This role will support all three of our concepts—The Jungle Bar, Umbo, and Siren—by creating content, promoting events, and driving guests through our doors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies that increase brand awareness and guest traffic.
  • Create and publish engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of food, cocktails, live entertainment, special events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Plan and maintain a monthly content and marketing calendar.
  • Monitor social media engagement by responding to comments and messages while building an active online community.
  • Coordinate giveaways, contests, influencer partnerships, and promotional campaigns.
  • Plan, organize, and execute special events including themed nights, live entertainment, holiday events, grand openings, community activations, and promotional events.
  • Promote private events and work alongside the Events Team to increase bookings.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, media partners, and influencers.
  • Attend events to capture live content and provide real-time social media coverage.
  • Track marketing performance and provide recommendations based on campaign results.
  • Maintain consistent branding across all digital, print, and in-house marketing materials.
  • Stay current with social media trends and identify new opportunities to grow the Smitty & Pearl's brand.

Qualifications

  • Experience in social media marketing, hospitality marketing, event marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong photography, videography, and content creation skills.
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
