Casne Engineering is seeking an energetic, self-starting individual to provide electrical design and construction support services for the Engineering Services department in our Bellevue, WA office. Candidates must exhibit a confident, professional, and positive demeanor and have a genuine interest in helping our customers succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Design of Industrial and Commercial systems, including:

      โ€ขย ย  ย Primary and Secondary Unit Substationsย 
      โ€ขย ย  ย UPS and Emergency/Standby Generation ย 
      โ€ขย ย  ย Power Monitoringย 
      โ€ขย ย  ย Lighting Systemsย 
      โ€ขย ย  ย Short Circuit and Load Studies, Relay Coordination Settingsย 
      โ€ขย ย  ย Arc Flash Hazard Analysisย 
      โ€ขย ย  ย Motor Control Systemsย 
      โ€ขย ย  ย Data, Networking and Communication Systemsย 
      โ€ขย ย  ย Fire Alarm, Security and Other Auxiliary Systemsย

  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadline-driven tasks effectively and efficiently, including a proactive approach to follow-up
  • Successful completion of background checks (including possible drug testing, depending on the client) for access badging requirements
  • Ability to travel to customer locations as required to research existing conditions, coordinate with third parties, install and configure equipment, commission final solutions, and support customers

Preferences

  • Experience with construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Experience with construction and commissioning activities
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu, and management of PDF documents
  • Experience with engineering software including SKM, Easy Power, ETAP, SEL acSELerator, AGI32, etc.
