Job Title: Traveling General Laborer

Job Description

This traveling general laborer role supports the preparation and finishing of concrete floors with industrial coatings across various job sites in Southern Minnesota. You will assist with surface preparation, mixing and applying epoxy and urethane coatings, and operating basic tools and equipment while working as part of a team to deliver high-quality results safely and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing concrete floors by cleaning, grinding, and repairing surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
  • Mix epoxy, urethane, and other industrial coatings according to specified ratios and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Apply coatings using appropriate tools such as rollers, squeegees, and other application equipment to achieve an even finish.
  • Operate basic tools and equipment, including grinders, mixers, and rollers, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Monitor coated surfaces during curing and ensure proper finishing, including touch-ups and corrections as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards and company procedures.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Travel to various job sites in Southern Minnesota and adapt to different work conditions and project requirements.
  • Handle materials and equipment safely, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
