Epic MyChart / Grand Central Consultant

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Epic MyChart and/or Grand Central Consultant to provide critical support following the departure of two full-time team members. The consultant will assist with a substantial project portfolio, ongoing operational support, and upcoming Epic upgrade activities.

The ideal candidate will hold Epic certifications in both MyChart and Grand Central. However, candidates with strong MyChart expertise and certification will also be considered. The client is live with Cheers and Cheers experience would be a plus, but not required.

This is a fully remote contract opportunity with an immediate need and potential for extension based on project demands and performance.

Key Responsibilities

MyChart Responsibilities

Support the planning, design, build, testing, and optimization of several high-priority MyChart initiatives, including:

• Online/Direct Scheduling implementation and enhancements

• Provider Finder implementation and optimization

• MyChart Bedside deployment and support

• Upcoming Epic upgrade activities, including review and implementation of approximately 100 upgrade notes and enhancements

• Ongoing MyChart maintenance, troubleshooting, and end-user support

• Collaboration with operational, clinical, and IT stakeholders to deliver new functionality and improve patient engagement

Grand Central Responsibilities

Support operational and project-based Grand Central initiatives, including:

• Implementation of new Epic AI functionality related to Predictive Discharge

• Payer platform integration involving ADT workflows and interfaces

• Upcoming Epic upgrade planning, testing, and implementation

• Facility structure build and maintenance for new departments, locations, mergers, and acquisitions

• Optimization of registration, scheduling, and patient access workflows

• Collaboration with revenue cycle, access, and clinical teams to support organizational growth and operational needs

Required Qualifications

• Epic MyChart Certification required

• Epic Grand Central Certification strongly preferred

• Proven experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects

• Experience with workflow analysis, system build, testing, and deployment

• Strong understanding of patient access and patient engagement workflows

• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
