About the Role
The Assistant Hospitality Manager plays a frontline leadership role in delivering exceptional, high-volume, high-touch guest experiences across Beringer's entry-level tasting room space, gift shop, and tours. This role is responsible for driving growth across core tasting room business, tour experiences, and international programs, with a strong focus on the Knight's Valley portfolios. You will lead and coach a large hospitality team, partner cross-functionally to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences, and serve as a visible presence on the floor, setting service, sales, and brand standards while meeting key financial and growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and drive growth of the entry-level tasting room, historic caves and gift shop, delivering elevated service with a focus on Knight's Valley portfolio
  • Manage and grow tour experiences, ensuring offerings align with guest demand, brand positioning, and revenue goals
  • Lead the development and expansion of the Knight's Valley Program
  • Partner with Trade teams, domestic and international, to host and accommodate consumers and partners
  • Oversee daily operations as Manager on Duty, including staffing, scheduling, cash handling, and service execution
  • Drive the culture established in our hospitality academy to lead, train, and coach a large hospitality team to achieve sales, wine club, and guest experience targets
  • Monitor service delivery to ensure luxury-level consistency across tastings, tours, and retail interactions
  • Drive sales performance, wine club conversion, and average order value while managing labor, inventory, and cost controls
  • Resolve guest service and operational issues in real time, maintaining a calm, professional presence
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Events, and Central Operations to execute programming, promotions, and experiences
