Job Summary:
InfiNet Solutions is seeking a Level 1 Systems Administrator, typically an entry-level position with less than one year of experience. The role involves providing phone support, managing client issues, and following prescribed directions and procedures while ensuring quality work.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Answer phones
โ€ข Provide Level 1 phone support
โ€ข Meet daily time entry standards
โ€ข Takes direction from Administrators/Senior Administrators/Managers
โ€ข Takes ownership of tasks and follows through to ensure complete resolution
โ€ข Complete required documentation (time entries, tickets, walkthroughs, etc.)
โ€ข Takes a personal interest in, and responsibility for, quality of work they perform or are associated with
โ€ข Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Managed Services Team Lead, Service Manager, President, or any other appropriate administrator
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Exhibit general knowledge of workstation operation (hardware/software)
โ€ข Effectively communicate and manage clients
โ€ข Follow directions and processes as required
โ€ข Can build a machine, install the OS, and knows how to get drivers
โ€ข Can login to a router
โ€ข Can effectively communicate basic technical items to non-technical users
โ€ข Understands how to remove malware and viruses
โ€ข Basic knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products
โ€ข Setup a new user in 3CX
โ€ข Can create users in Active Directory
โ€ข Can join machines to a domain and create a user profile
โ€ข Understands cabling and can put ends on and tone out cables
โ€ข Can share documents between workstations
โ€ข Deploy simple wireless solutions
โ€ข Deploy 3CX phone to in-house users
โ€ข Exhibit a personal interest in, and responsibility for, quality of work performed
โ€ข Ability to sit for extended periods of time
โ€ข Exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone and enter data into a computer terminal
โ€ข Ability to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids
