Responsibilities

Eastman is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Representative to support the day-to-day HR responsibilities for assigned organization(s). This entry level professional role plays a critical part in delivering effective HR services that foster an employee-focused, high-performance culture emphasizing safety, quality, productivity, and continuous development.

About the Role
As an integral member of the HR team, you will assist and advise company front-line leaders and employees on a variety of HR matters. You will coordinate and lead HR practices and initiatives that support talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation as a HR professional and would report to an experienced HR Leader.  

Key Responsibilities
   Serve as a resource to front line managers, providing guidance and support on employee relations, HR processes, performance management, and organizational development.
   Serve as a resource to HR Partners, assisting with analysis and coordination of annual HR processes and HR projects for assigned organizations.
   Support employee relations initiatives by addressing general inquiries, maintaining positive employee engagement, and assisting in conflict resolution processes.
   Provide guidance to line managers and employees related to HR policies inquiries.
   Assist with talent and succession planning processes to help build workforce capability.
   Perform compensation analysis for any internal transfers, adjustments or promotions.
   Analyze workforce data and trends to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
   Collaborate closely with HR team members, business leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent HR service delivery as well as a positive and productive workplace culture.

Qualifications

   Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
   Previous HR experience is preferred.
   PHR or other relevant HR certification is a plus.
   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
   Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
   Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
   Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
   Ability to translate HR knowledge into practical recommendations and solutions.
   Demonstrated commitment to ethical behavior and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
