Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

This entry-level role supports spares demand planning activities for assigned product areas. The planner will learn KLA planning processes, use data to support inventory decisions, and work with cross-functional teams to help ensure the right parts are available to support customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support spares planning for assigned products or part groups.
  • Review demand, inventory, and planning data to help maintain appropriate spare parts availability.
  • Monitor basic performance metrics such as fill rate, service levels, and inventory position. Conduct root cause analysis to drive the appropriate corrective actions.
  • Work with Regional Planning, Product Support, Supply Planning, Procurement, and other teams to gather inputs for the demand plan.
  • Learn product lifecycle concepts, spares planning fundamentals, and KLA planning systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework, internship, project, or early career experience in supply chain, operations, engineering, business analytics, data analysis, or a related area.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain, demand planning, inventory planning, or operations concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills and interest in working with data to solve business problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to ERP, planning, reporting, or data visualization tools such as SAP, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Ability to organize information, manage priorities, and follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Basic understanding of inventory planning, service levels, product lifecycle, bills of material, or service parts concepts is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Level Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, Operations, or a related field. New college graduates and candidates with internship, co-op, academic project, or equivalent experience are encouraged to apply.
