In the role of an Electrical Technician, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process, responsible for the assembly and installation of electronic components and electromechanical products. Your duties will include working from detailed specifications and established manufacturing procedures to ensure the proper installation and functionality of various electrical systems. You will also be required to troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise during the assembly process, as well as conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of safety and reliability. Your work will require a moderate level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a shop based role located in Austin, Texas.
How you'll make an impact:
  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels and components by following instructions, diagrams, and shop procedures.
  • Help keep shop materials organized and stocked for daily work.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Work with team members and engineering staff to complete projects on schedule.
  • Learn to identify and correct wiring or assembly issues with attention to quality and detail.
  • Follow written instructions, diagrams, and safety procedures carefully.
  • Assist with testing and checking completed panels to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Document basic notes, procedures, and updates as needed.
  • Support panel shop setup tasks and other projects as assigned.
  • Panel shop coordination to NAT (Name Address Translation) & Naming Moxa devises on new builds
