Job Summary

BOXABL is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in building a career in electrical work and wants to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

The Electrical Technician will assist with electrical installations, wiring, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment under the direction of experienced electricians and supervisors. The successful candidate should be dependable, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist experienced electricians with electrical installations and repairs.
  • Install and route electrical wiring, cables, conduit, and related components.
  • Assist with connecting electrical devices, outlets, switches, fixtures, panels, and equipment.
  • Read and follow basic electrical drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying potential problems.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and properly.
  • Perform basic electrical measurements and testing under supervision.
  • Assist with electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and building systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, electrical safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Communicate electrical issues, damaged equipment, and safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
  • Assist with inventory and organization of electrical supplies and materials.
  • Work collaboratively with electricians, maintenance personnel, production employees, and other departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous electrical, construction, maintenance, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
  • Electrical trade school, vocational training, apprenticeship coursework, or related education is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of electrical concepts is preferred.
  • Ability to read basic drawings, diagrams, and instructions.
