Job description

Description
The University of Notre Dame, Department of Finance, looking for applicants who have attained or are completing a Ph.D. in finance or economics and whose research is related to housing and real estate finance to fill a tenure-track position in the Finance Department. The position can be at the untenured assistant, tenured associate, or tenured full professor level depending on qualifications. Position duties include publishing in leading finance journals, teaching well at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and contributing to the intellectual life of the college. We offer competitive salary and benefits and generous research support.
The University of Notre Dame, located in South Bend, Indiana, is consistently ranked among the top 25 undergraduate institutions in the U.S. The university has approximately 13,000 students, with undergraduates accounting for 70% of the student body. As part of the University's Mendoza College of Business, the finance department contributes to a top-ranked undergraduate business program and several highly regarded graduate programs, including MBA, executive MBA, and Masters of Science in Finance programs. Qualifications
Candidates at the entry level must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. degree in Finance or a closely related field or have completed all but the dissertation with an expected dissertation defense date prior to August 1, 2027. Candidates at the advanced assistant, associate, or full professor level must have a Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field.
