Material Control Spec I - Sterling, VA

Join a dynamic production and integration facility supporting DoD customers as a Material Control Spec I. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented individuals eager to launch or grow a career in materials management and warehousing. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient flow of materials from receipt to production, collaborating with various internal teams, and ensuring high standards of inventory accuracy. This is a hands-on, on-site position in Sterling, VA, offering real-world experience and potential for direct hire.
[Responsibilities]
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials for inventory
- Stock materials on shelves and pick items for production orders
- Deliver materials to designated points of contact within the facility
- Perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and support asset management
- Package and ship products accurately and efficiently
- Set up and connect IT equipment for remote configuration
- Coordinate pallet shipments through receiving and distribution phases
- Support general warehouse operations and assist in additional tasks as needed
