Job Description
Lamp Rynearson is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Design Group in Omaha, Nebraska. Our team provides civil engineering services for a variety of land development projects, including residential and commercial developments, educational and sport facilities, and municipal infrastructure.
As a Civil Engineer, you will assist with the planning and design of civil engineering projects while working alongside experienced designers, engineers, and project managers. This position provides opportunities to develop technical expertise, gain project experience, and contribute to projects that positively impact communities throughout the region.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with the design and preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to support project planning and design.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with stormwater, drainage, and utility analyses.
• Prepare reports, exhibits, cost estimates, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, project managers, and clients to support successful project delivery.
• Participate in field visits and site observations as needed.
• Gain experience with municipal standards, permitting requirements, and design practices.
• Contribute to project solutions while receiving mentorship and guidance from senior staff.
