Job description

Position: General AP clerk
Location: Bedford, OH
Duration: Contract to Hire
Expected hours: 30-40 per week onsite, Monday-Friday
Rate: $20-$22/hour based on experience (open to candidates out of school)
Hours: 7am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4:30pm, flexible with start and end time
Responsibilities
  • Accurate data entry of weekly bills into A/P system
  • Researching A/P invoice discrepancies
  • Prepare vendor payments on a weekly basis
  • Assist with auditing of store locations on a weekly basis
  • Maintain organized and accurate filing systems (digital and physical)
  • Assist accounting personnel in other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree preferred or 2+ years of general accounting experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting software (MS Dynamics a plus) and bookkeeping principles
  • Candidate must also pass a background check as a condition of employment
Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
