Remote Customer Service Representative / Order Entry Specialist

Location: Remote (On Site training and occasional meetings in Dubuque, IA)

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday | 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM CST

We are seeking a Remote Customer Service Representative / Order Entry Specialist to join a local Dubuque manufacturer. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, accurately processing orders, and supporting daily business operations in a fast-paced environment. The right fit candidate will come with previous customer support and preferably AS400 experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and process customer orders.

  • Review orders for completeness and accuracy.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email regarding:

  • Order status

  • Product pricing

  • Shipping rates

  • Delivery information

  • Warranty questions

  • Provide friendly, professional customer support by email and phone after training.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.

  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service, administrative, data entry, inside sales support, or order processing experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
