Role Overview

The Customer Service Representative I (CSR I) is an entry-level role responsible for delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience through order processing, customer support, and coordination with internal teams. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers, supporting order fulfillment, resolving issues, and contributing to customer satisfaction and profitable growth.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently across multiple order channels in real time
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely information on orders, pricing, products, and delivery
  • Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and Credit teams to support order fulfillment and issue resolution
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, order adjustments, or promotions within established guidelines
  • Track and resolve order exceptions, backorders, and delivery deviations while keeping customers informed
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional, responsive communication
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information
  • Assist with basic sales support activities, including identifying cross-sell or upsell opportunities
  • Complete administrative tasks, documentation, and reporting accurately and on time
  • Follow all safety, regulatory, and operational policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in face to face Customer Service
  • Strong verbal and written communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with basic problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable using computers, keyboards, and standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Basic math skills related to pricing and quantity calculations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Willingness to learn Veseris products, services, and industry fundamentals
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and, depending on location, lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work in environments that may include warehouse settings, temperature variation, and potential exposure to hazardous substances
