About the Role

H2sOlutions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Application Engineer to join our growing team in Lakeland, FL.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting customers, and turning technical requirements into real-world solutions. As an Application Engineer, you will work closely with our sales, operations, service, and project teams to help design, support, and deliver solutions for municipal, utility, and industrial customers.
You will play an important role in helping our team provide accurate proposals, technical documentation, product recommendations, drawings, submittals, and application support.
Responsibilities
  • Review customer specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Help identify the best technical solutions for each application.
  • Support the sales team with product selection, proposals, and technical information.
  • Prepare and review submittals, product data, O&M manuals, and project documentation.
  • Assist with CAD drawings, system layouts, and technical design support.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, engineers, contractors, and internal team members.
  • Provide technical support before, during, and after the sale.
  • Help troubleshoot application or system issues when needed.
  • Support projects involving chemical feed systems, flow measurement, instrumentation, controls, and process equipment.
  • Keep project files, drawings, specifications, and technical documents organized.
  • Look for ways to improve processes, documentation, and internal workflows.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Experience in application engineering, project engineering, technical sales support, systems engineering, or a similar role preferred.
  • Experience with water/wastewater, industrial process equipment, chemical feed, instrumentation, controls, or mechanical systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications, drawings, plans, and technical documents.
  • Experience with CAD tools or technical drawing software preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical information in a simple, practical way.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-focused mindset.
