Job description

Cisco Infrastructure Engineer

An entry-level Cisco Infrastructure Engineer typically has or is working towards a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with 2-3 years’ experience in Cisco router & switch technology.

Work on data engineering projects under the guidance of more experienced data engineers.

Procure hardware necessary to complete assigned project.

Configure and deploy routers and switches using provisioning templates.

Maintain data integrity in data network management tools like SolarWinds and ISE.

Provision and deploy Cisco wireless hardware.

Configure out of band terminal servers.

Review the accuracy of drawings with as built network.

Audit third party WAN circuits to determine opportunities for cost savings.
