Join a team where complexity doesn't mean confusion but rather a deep dive into understanding, surfacing with clear options and recommendations.

About the Role

The Systems Engineer role involves managing complex configuration projects, hours-based implementations, and serving as the primary backup for support operations. As part of our team, you will focus on enterprise-level solutions including Mobile Device Management (MDM) implementations, Card Printer Technology deployments, and advanced system integrations while resolving escalated technical issues.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly driven and technically proficient individual with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering enterprise solutions. You should be comfortable managing technical projects, interacting with clients, and collaborating across departments. This role is ideal for someone with experience in enterprise IT systems, card printer hardware and software, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

Serve as the primary resource for Tier 1 backup and support coverage

Lead complex configuration projects for enterprise clients

Manage billable professional services, including MDM setup and Enterprise Labeling integrations

Configure, deploy, and support Card Printer Technology solutions, including hardware setup, driver installation, print template configuration, and ribbon/media management

Troubleshoot card printer issues including connectivity, encoding failures, print quality, and firmware updates

Integrate card printing systems with client identity management and access control platforms

Handle escalated support tickets assigned to Tier 2

Deliver travel-related, billable customer services and onsite support when needed

Qualifications & Skills

3+ years of experience in enterprise technical solutions

Proven experience with MDM platforms and enterprise integrations

Hands-on experience with Card Printer Technology, including brands such as Zebra, HID, Matica, or Entrust (formerly Datacard)

Familiarity with card printer software platforms (e.g., ZMotif SDK, HID FARGO Connect, or equivalent)

Experience with card encoding technologies including magnetic stripe, smart chip (contact/contactless), and barcode

Project management experience with billable professional services

Experience managing client-facing technical projects with billable deliverables

Ability to work collaboratively in an office environment while managing multiple priorities

Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities

Strong communication and customer relationship skills

Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required

Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders

Language Requirements

This role requires professional fluency in both English and Spanish. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders in both languages, including verbal and written communication, technical documentation, and customer-facing interactions.

Travel Management

Engineers are expected to manage their own travel arrangements out of pocket when traveling for customer-related services or business needs. They must track and submit all related expenses accurately in accordance with company policies. Reimbursement is provided based on adherence to established procedures, ensuring timely and appropriate compensation for incurred travel costs.

Physical Demands

This position is based out of our Miami, FL office. The role involves extended periods of sitting and computer work. Candidates must be able to commute to the Miami office on a regular basis. Up to 25% travel may be necessary to provide onsite support for customers, attend training, or participate in professional development opportunities.
