Woodlake Country Club, located in Vass, North Carolina, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Outside Services. Woodlake Country Club is a gated community located on the outskirts of North Carolina’s most well-known and sought after districts, including the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Fort Bragg, Pope Air Force Base, and Fayetteville areas. Despite its close proximity to nearby city life, residents and passersby prefer to indulge in the laid back atmosphere and unique amenities that Woodlake has to offer. With gorgeous views of the property’s 1,200 acre private lake, a charming historical clubhouse, and two championship golf courses, Woodlake Country Club has been the best kept secret of the North Carolina Sandhills for more than 54 years.

Responsibilities of Outside Services at Woodlake Country Club include:

  • Completing daily opening or closing procedures.
  • Hand picking certain areas of the short game area.
  • Touring the cart staging area, bag drop, and driving range several times an hour to ensure it is operating accordingly.
  • Keeping the golf carts organized and clean with pencils, scorecards, tees, etc.
  • Checks golf carts for damage and washes carts on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery and equipment.
  • Assisting the Head Golf Professional with the cart staging during all tournament operations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to operate machinery.
  • Knowledge and execution of safe driving principles and practices.
  • Evaluation of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.

  • Walk and stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; up to 75 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move heavy objects.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently:
  • Be exposed to outside weather conditions including temperatures over 90 and below 40 degrees.
  • Work near: moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals.
