  FLSA: Exempt   Temporary/Continuing:  Continuing   Part-Time/Full-Time: Full-Time   Union Group: N/A   Term of Position: 12 Month   At Will/Just Cause: Just Cause   Summary of Position: This full-time position serves as a functional and technical resource supporting the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
The role focuses on improving systems, streamlining processes, and supporting data integrity within Ellucian Banner and related platforms.
The individual in this role will help bridge operational needs and technical solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
This role is designed to evolve with the office's needs and the individual's strengths.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in ambiguous situations, learning continuously, and contributing to both technical and operational improvements across the department and within the division of Student Affairs.
Visa sponsorship will not be offered with this position.   Position Type: Staff   Required Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.   Required Work Experience: One year of work experience with analysis and reporting, or combination of work experience and education/training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities may qualify.   Required Licenses and Certifications:     Physical Demands:

  Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: Previous experience working with Banner, developing reports with current reporting platform and/or working in a college/university environment.
Work experience with student information systems, database software and computer programming data.   Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Support configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of financial aid systems.
Develop and utilize Oracle SQL queries for reporting, validation, and process support.
Identify opportunities to improve awarding and financial aid functions efficiency through automation and process redesign.
Assist with system integrations and data flow between platforms.
Support compliance with federal, state, and institutional financial aid requirements.
Provide general technical and functional support to financial aid staff.
Assist with special projects and evolving office needs.
Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of designated information.
Implement software changes in accordance with Information Services' system development methodology and security controls.
Provide support and development for essential Financial Aid processes including FAFSA data load, aid packaging and awarding, Satisfactory Academic Progress, state award certification and reimbursement, packaging philosophy, and award management software.
Provide support for governmental reporting requirements.
Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and initiatives.
Cultivates an environment of belonging that values, respects, supports, and celebrates individual similarities and differences, allowing students, faculty and staff to thrive authentically.
Perform any other duties assigned within the position classification area.
Reports to the Director of Financial Aid/Assistant Dean of Enrollment Services.   Marginal Duties/Responsibilities:     Skills and Abilities: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
