Job description

Best known for computer programs that extend and enrich the Windows experience, as well as for developing and publishing award-winning PC strategy games, Stardock is seeking a Junior IT Analyst to support our computer systems and network infrastructure. This is a salaried, full-time position at our Plymouth, Michigan office.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the Plymouth, MI office.
  • Support the provisioning and installation of new desktop computers.
  • Help troubleshoot basic problems reported by users, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Provide input on future upgrades.
  • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation for handling server issues outside of working hours.
  • Assist in maintaining network and system security.
  • Document system configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Maintain an Asset Inventory system.
  • Support the administration of Active Directory.
  • Assist in managing servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, software deployment, security updates, and patches.
  • Support LANs, VPNs, Internet, and intranet systems.
  • Help manage a virtualized server infrastructure using VMWare.

Relational Responsibilities Include:
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt well to changes in the work environment
  • Efficiently interact with all users at various skill levels
  • Communicate effectively both in written and verbal exchanges

Education and/or Experience Desired:
  • 1-2 years IT support experience
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred; Bachelor's Degree is a plus but not required.
