TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Pre-30-Day Collector plays an important role in helping customers stay on track with their accounts while supporting Westlake Financial’s continued success. We’re looking for someone who’s goal-driven, customer-focused, and ready to grow with us.

  • Use strong communication and negotiation skills to work with customers and help them make timely payments.

  • Meet and exceed daily and monthly performance goals.

  • Make effective outbound calls to customers to arrange payments or set up plans to resolve past-due accounts.

  • Handle inbound customer calls — providing professional, friendly assistance while addressing both service and collection needs.

  • Work with Westlake customers to find and arrange collection solutions for individual accounts.

  • Be a dependable team player who contributes to a positive, supportive work environment.


    EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

    • High School Diploma or GED preferred
    • Good communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
    • Basic to intermediate computer knowledge
    • Reliable attendance
    • Proper grammar and email etiquette
    • Type a minimum of 35 WPM
    • Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines
    • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness
    • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including evening shifts, overtime and weekends
    • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is welcomed but not required
    • Auto Collections experience preferred
