The DeKalb County School District is seeking an experienced and professional P/T Data Clerk, Adult Education Program.

Title: P/T Data Clerk, Adult Education Program
Performs routine tasks to assist with managing and verifying student academic data to support enrollment and GED Graduation rates and maintain accurate records. Performs duties under direct supervision as an entry-level individual contributor.
Essential Job Duties
• Compiles, sorts, and verifies the accuracy of student data before entry and maintains and updates data to ensure completeness and accuracy of student records.
• Develops and maintains an effective management system to support Adult Education leadership, including structures for tracking student post-secondary and employment databases.
• Communicates with students, staff, Adult Education Leadership and external organizations to gather information and resolve questions or inconsistencies in student data as needed.
• Creates and manages reports, spreadsheets, and databases for tracking student data, and runs regularupdates on reports such as the attendance and online learning platform participation.
• Maintains confidentiality of student instructional reports and sensitive information.
• Carries out clerical tasks, including maintaining records and handling correspondence.
• Provides front desk support by answering telephone inquiries promptly.
• Assists by providing general administrative support when required.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma with 0 - 3 years of related experience, or Associate degree with less than 1 year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience level.
