Job description

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a systems engineer with experience in requirements identification and IBM Rational DOORS for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the LGM-35A Sentinel system of systems. This systems engineer will assist the United States Air Force (USAF) in managing its internal program requirements for Sentinel program, analyzing the Prime contractor's DOORS data modules, and preparing reports for System Qualification. The candidate will interface with the Prime Contractor to ensure it meets the U.S. Government's intent with respect to requirements products and artifacts. The candidate will also consult regularly with the USAF's system program office (SPO) concerning external stakeholder needs and various requirements-related topics. This unique position will allow the candidate to view all requirements efforts for the Sentinel weapon system and will provide great growth potential. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing team in a large defense company with an extraordinary positive culture and mission focus. In this position, you will provide direct support to a national security-critical weapon system throughout engineering development, deployment, and sustainment. You will help support several hundred personnel providing the government with ICBM expertise. You will become a trusted mission partner to the innovative, digital engineering-driven Air Force organization that is responsible to design, build, test, transition, and sustain the world's safest, most secure, and effective land-based nuclear deterrent, on-schedule. Full-Time Salary Range: $59023 - $100339 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
