Job description

Description

Install and configure low-voltage telecommunications infrastructure, including floor outlets (monuments), modular furniture outlets (surface-mount boxes), and wall outlets (box eliminators). Route and secure cabling through walls, ceilings, and modular furniture using fish tape and other approved installation methods. Perform cable preparation and pre-termination activities, including organizing, dressing, labeling, and managing cable length and slack. Properly support and secure cables using cable trays, J-hooks, D-rings, bridal rings, and trapeze systems.

Build and outfit telecommunications closets by mounting backboards, racks, patch panels, cross-connects, fiber optic components, and related hardware. Install grounding and bonding systems for racks, equipment, and cabling as required. Perform fire-stopping procedures, install sleeves, core penetrations, and pull cabling through fire-rated pathways while maintaining code compliance. Terminate and test low-voltage devices and communication systems.

Pay and Benefits
