About the Role:
We are seeking a driven, competitive, and relationship-focused Carrier Sales Representative to join our growing Carrier Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing carrier capacity, negotiating rates, maximizing margins, and ensuring every load is set up for successful execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong carrier relationships, and is motivated by performance-based results.
Top Responsibilities:
  • Book Loads – Secure carrier capacity by sourcing, negotiating, and booking freight while ensuring competitive pricing and service.
  • Set Loads Up for Success – Prepare shipments for successful execution by communicating expectations, verifying load details, and proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Maximize Margin – Leverage market knowledge and carrier relationships to negotiate favorable rates and drive profitability on every load.
  • Build and Strengthen Carrier Relationships – Develop and maintain a network of reliable carrier partners through consistent communication, accountability, and trust.
  • Be Part of the Team – Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture by supporting teammates, sharing knowledge, and embracing a team-first mindset.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of logistics, transportation, brokerage, or carrier sales experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Competitive mindset with a strong desire to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with transportation management systems, load boards, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Average of 15 loads booked per day.
  • Achievement of monthly margin and revenue goals.
  • Completion of required carrier and order verification processes.
  • Consistent activity levels and carrier engagement.
  • Contribution to overall team profitability and customer satisfaction.
