Job description

Import Agent / Customer Service in an International Freight Forwarding Company

  • Long term temp position
  • Location: El Segundo, CA
  • Monday – Friday rotation 08:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m. Some Weekends
  • $21-22/hr.

Requirements of the Import Agent / Customer Service:

  • 1 – 3 years of working experience (at least 1 year in the office)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities of the Import Agent / Customer Service:

  • Making Data entry (Truck bills, etc.)
  • Issuing invoices, scan and save data
  • Communicate with team members and customers
  • Make customer billing statements
  • Communicate with customer, airline, truck carrier, warehouse team, and any other related person by Email, Phone, MS TEAMS
  • Review and prepare documentation
  • Checking the cargo condition and creating report
  • Other related duties will be assigned
